Michał Porada · Lead Product Designer

I design crypto products people actually understand.

I reduce the complexity of crypto from multi-step compliance flows to cross-chain transactions into experiences regular people can actually use. From user research to simple design to pull requests, I work alongside product managers and engineers from day one to ship products that bridge Web2 and Web3.

Case studies

From a widget that served 8M+ users to a wallet built from scratch. Here's how I think, what I ship, and what I'd do differently.

About me

10+ years of experience. Here's how I think, how I work, and what I believe in.

Mindset

The internet wouldn't be what it is today if it were as fragmented as blockchain. Imagine if you needed to understand which network protocol a website was using before you could visit it, or if sending an email to someone on a different mail server required a manual bridging step. That's where crypto is now.

I believe cross-chain infrastructure is the abstraction layer that makes blockchain usable for regular people. The challenge isn't technical — bridges and aggregators exist. The challenge is design: how do you present route selection (speed vs. cost vs. security) in a way that doesn't require a PhD in DeFi? How do you communicate the state of a transaction that's simultaneously happening on two different blockchains? How do you build tools that are flexible enough for power users but opinionated enough to prevent mistakes?

At Ramp Network, I saw this problem from the on-ramp and off-ramp side. Users struggle to understand that the same token can exist on different networks with different properties. The names overlap, the concepts are alien, and the consequences of choosing wrong are real. This isn't a failure of user intelligence — it's a failure of design.

I've also seen it as a user. I've traded on ByBit, Coinbase, and Binance, used decentralized exchanges like Jupiter and StellaSwap, and bridged assets across chains. I know what the current experience feels like from the other side of the screen — and I know where it breaks. These are the problems I want to spend my time on — translating inherently complex systems into experiences people don’t need to think twice about.

Testomonials

What people I work with say

Daniel Dutka • Staff Frontend Engineer

Michal is a visionary who blends data, AI, and research into sharp design solutions. He has a great eye for detail, builds cohesive products with the full experience in mind, and consistently pushes beyond what seems possible. And honestly, it’s just awesome to be around him!

Krzysztof Ławecki • Head of Data

In over three years of working with Michał at Ramp Network, he stood out as one of the most data-engaged people in the entire org — and I say that as someone who led the Data team. He tracks adoption, asks the right questions, and genuinely cares about what happens after a product feature ships. His designs look sharp and work intuitively — a balance most designers talk about but few actually deliver. Hire him.

Michał Mazur • UX Designer & Research Lead

Michał is for sure one of the most skilled and passionate designers I've ever worked with! It was such a pleasure to team up with such a self-starter with talent for experimentation, yet always open to feedback. On many occasions, Michał's contagious energy moved entire teams out of impasse, always towards shared business goals. Not many designers can zoom in to discuss the details of a button (!) and then zoom out to product strategy in the next breath, but Michał surely can!

Marek Rycerski • Senior Product Manager

Michał takes full ownership of complex initiatives and drives them forward without needing direction. He balances quality with pragmatism, focuses on real product impact, and works closely with both product and engineering. A highly collaborative designer who consistently delivers high-quality work.

Maciej Młynarczuk • Engineering Manager

Michał is a rare designer who truly lives in the problem space he works on. His deep crypto expertise and genuine curiosity show in every decision he makes. He brings incredible energy, strong product intuition, and real ownership to the team. When he commits to a problem, he goes deep and pushes for solutions that truly click. I genuinely love working with him.
